The Methodist Church in India

Lal Bagh Methodist Church is one of the most beautiful and historical Churches in Lucknow, which comes under the Lucknow Regional Conference of the MCI.

It was William Butler, the man who started Methodism in India, started English services in Lucknow in 1858 It was in 1870 that the congregation was formed.

At present the Lal Bagh Methodist Church is doing very well under the leadership of its Pastor Rev. A. J. Maxton.
